Users of Bewsey Barn Community Centre can now look forward to the approaching winter thanks to the £15k investment Great Sankey Parish Council have made towards upgrading the heating system and also installing a brand-new floor throughout the Centre.
Jack and Jill Pre-school, Bingo Club, Indoor Bowls Club, Rainbows and Cadets who all run regular classes from the Centre are delighted with the upgrade.
Peter Watson Chairman of Great Sankey Parish Council said;
“Great Sankey Parish Council are proud of their Community Centres and we are committed to ensuring that the facilities we provide continue to be of a very high standard.
We are also very proud that the vast majority of groups who use our Centres are community based. We offer affordable ‘homes’ to groups that provide local residents with a wealth of opportunities to socialise, learn new skills and improve their well-being. Something that is important to us all”
