When does the Parish Council meet?
Parish Council meetings are held on the second Wednesday of every month (except August), at 7pm at Tim Parry Community Centre. Members of the public are welcome to attend and observe.

How can I speak at a Parish Council meeting?
Members of the public are welcome to address the Council during the public-speaking period at the start of each meeting. Please notify the Parish Clerk in advance so your topic can be allocated time — email enquiries@gs-pc.net or call 01925 712279.

Who are my parish councillors?
Great Sankey Parish Council has 15 councillors representing five wards. The full list, with photos, contact details and committee roles, is on the Councillors page. Each councillor card shows which ward they cover.

How do I contact a specific councillor?
Every councillor profile page carries an Email button at the top — this pre-fills a message addressed to that councillor (or to the Parish Office if no direct email is published). Visit Councillors, click a card, then use the Email or Phone CTA.

How do I hire a community centre?
All five parish community centres are available for private hire — birthday parties, classes, meetings and community groups. Submit the Community Centre Enquiry form with your preferred date and centre, or call 01925 712279.

What activities run at the community centres?

What’s the difference between Great Sankey Parish Council and Warrington Borough Council?
Warrington Borough Council is the principal local authority — responsible for highways, planning decisions, waste collection, schools, social care, etc. Great Sankey Parish Council is the lowest tier of local government, focused specifically on Great Sankey: running our five community centres, maintaining recreation grounds, hosting community events, and acting as a statutory consultee on planning matters affecting the parish.
